The incoming dean of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's journalism school was found to have created "an unwelcome and hostile environment" at her former workplace, according to a report by the Central Michigan University Office of Civil Rights and Institutional Equity.
Maria Marron, who was appointed to lead the College of Journalism and Mass Communications in January, was investigated following a complaint of discrimination filed by Sara Kubik, an assistant journalism professor, in October 2013.
