Upcoming Book for Hawaiian Humor Columnist

By: E&P Staff A humor-column collection by the Honolulu Star-Bulletin's Charles Memminger is scheduled to be released at the end of this month by Watermark Publishing.

"Hey, Waiter, There's an Umbrella in My Drink!" features Memminger's best columns dating back to 1992 as well as some new essays. He writes about everything from "tourists with attitude" to "missionaries gone wild."

Memminger, who does three columns a week for the Star-Bulletin, is a two-time winner of the National Society of Newspaper Columnists' award for best humor columnist at an under-100,000-circulation newspaper. His work has been distributed by the New York Times News Service.
