'USA Today' Names Advertising Directors

By: E&P Staff USA Today has named Rick Bonti and Andrea Green national adverstising sales directors. Both were advertising sales managers.

Bonti will head up the technology sales category, and Green will oversee the travel category, according to a statement released by the paper on Monday. Both will be based in New York and report to Lori Erdos, vp or advertising sales.

Bonti has been with USA Today since 1998. He began his career with the company as an automotive representative in New York. A year later, he was promoted to New York manager of the auto and technology category. Green also was hired by the paper in 1998, when she was the New York manager for travel, retail and credit cards. Green now takes over the national post of Janet Lewis, who will work part-time on strategic initiatives.
