By: E&P Staff USA Today and El Nuevo D?a are teaming up to launch a daily edition of The Nation's Newspaper in Puerto Rico, officially hitting hotels on Feb. 22.
El Nuevo D?a is printing the USA Today edition Monday through Friday and distributing it in Puerto Rican hotels. Along with its traditional sections of News, Money, Sports and Life, the paper will contain two pages dedicated to news in the area, produced, written and translated by El Nuevo D?a journalists.
"This alliance with El Nuevo D?a is an important step toward our journalistic mission to serve as the main information media for the traveler and the tourist," David Hunke, USA Today's president and publisher, said in a statement. "We are confident that this initiative is only the beginning of a rewarding working relationship which combines the solid credibility and the excellence in performance of both companies."
Terms of partnership were not disclosed.
