By: E&P Staff USAToday.com has launched a travel special program allowing advertisers to choose listing categories through the Web site's travel section, and bid for placement using an auction bidding system.
Ad placement will be managed by New York-based IndustryBrains Inc., a performance-based network of Web sites.
Select advertiser deals are also distributed via a twice-weekly e-mail newsletter from USAToday.com.
IndustryBrains CEO Erik Matlick said the USAToday.com deal "exemplifies our commitment to enabling premium Web publishers to capture their fair share of pay-per-click revenue." The company's other network sites include ComputerWorld, PC Magazine and BusinessWeek.
