Valassis Names New Senior VP for In-Store Marketing

By: E&P Staff Valassis appointed Michael Kowalczyk to the newly created position of senior vice president, general manager of in-store marketing.

In his new role, Kowalczyk will be responsible for developing in-store partners and new product development.

Kowalczyk was most recently vice president of marketing at Valassis. Prior to that, he was with the BCB Group, a marketing think thank for new product introductions. He has also worked for American Greetings where he was responsible for trade and brand marketing.
