Vindigo, a provider of applications for handheld devices, rolled out its
free information services to four new cities this week: Boston, Chicago,
San Francisco, and Washington. Already available in New York City, the
Vindigo service offers food, shopping, and entertainment listings.

The content is provided by SF Gate, washingtonpost.com, nytoday.com,
zagat.com, inshop.com, and clubplanet.com.

Vindigo co-founder and CEO Jason Devitt says the company has over 40,000
registered users. The software can be downloaded to Palm Pilots or Palm-

compatible handhelds from www.vindigo.com. Each time a user updates, or
'syncs,' his handheld, any new information is automatically downloaded
to the device.
