By: E&P Staff London-based Vio Worldwide and New York-based ICS extended their partnership to deliver browser-based Certified Soft Proofing and calibration that streamlines the previous Vio Certified Soft Proofing2 workflow for quality assurance in ad submission.
Vio said it plans to roll out Certified Soft Proofing in North America by year's end.
Vio Certified Soft Proofing, which enabled advertisers to confidently deliver color display advertising directly to publishers, has been entirely redeveloped, according to the company -- and is offered as part of the AdSend browser application.
With Certified Soft Proofing part of AdSend, publishers can either mandate a soft proof or offer it as an option by publication or even by advertising type.
In conjunction with the new software launch, Vio is providing Certified Soft Proofing to Britain's Guardian and Observer newspapers, which join existing VCSP publications from Associated Newspapers, Mirror Group, Telegraph Media Group and News International, also all in the United Kingdom.
