Voice Condition Puts 'Dilbert' Cartoonist on ABC-TV Show

By: E&P Staff "Dilbert" cartoonist Scott Adams was part of a "Primetime: Medical Mysteries" segment on ABC-TV last night that focused on spasmodic dysphonia.

Adams this summer had an operation to try to correct that condition, which makes it hard for people to speak. "I won't know if it worked for another two to three months when the nerves have regenerated," he wrote on his blog today.

The "Dilbert" comic runs in more than 2,000 newspapers via United Media.
