The Wall Street Journal will publish a special weekly edition to be inserted in
The Arab News, an English-language newspaper from Saudi Research & Publishing in Saudi Arabia, beginning Nov. 2.
The four-page section will include
Journal articles and features selected by the
Journal's global copy desk. Under the deal,
The Arab News will also have the option of running
Journal editorial-page pieces.
In a statement,
Journal Vice President of Special Editions William E. Casey Jr. said Dow Jones looks forward "to expanding soon into Arabic-language publishing."
The
Journal prints special editions in 12 languages for 34 newspapers in 35 countries.
