By: E&P Staff The Wall Street Journal Thursday announced the launch of a travel agency called ?WSJTravel? that promises trips around the world for ?any range of budget? and destinations ?inspired by articles? from the newspaper.
WSJtravel launches Jan. 28 with nearly 50 trips, and will be adding more destinations in the coming weeks. Among the trips mentioned in the announcement are a culinary journey through Vietnam, a wine and food tour of Napa and a trip to Tuscany for bibliophiles.
"Just as you have come to rely on The Wall Street Journal's perspective of global events, many WSJtravel vacations will let you experience a destination from a completely new viewpoint," the announcement said.
Last year, the Journal launched a mail order wine business as it looks for more ways to get revenue from its high-income demographic audience.
