Wallace to Head Boston Globe Media Digital Ad Strategies

Boston Globe Media has hired Mike Wallace as executive director, digital advertising strategies. The former Boston.com staffer is responsible for developing programs and initiatives for digital advertising across The Boston Globe, Boston.com and related media outlets.

Citing Wallace's "wealth of digital experience," Boston Globe Media Chief Advertising Officer Lisa DeSisto said in a statement that his "experience and vision will help us give our advertisers new ways to reach audiences through Boston.com, our mobile site, e-readers, and our newly developed apps."

Wallace spent nine years as vice president/group publisher at TechTarget, publisher of integrated media that enables technology providers to reach targeted communities of technology professionals. He earlier worked at Boston.com, where he was instrumental in launching its first major mobile application.
