By: E&P Staff AdStar Inc. of Marina Del Rey, Calif., announced that it will power a new online recruitment service for The Washington Post. The system will allow employers to create and schedule their print help-wanted ads through an online order-entry process.
Recruiters will also be able to purchase both print and online ads in a single transaction at washingtonpost.com.
The newspaper previously used AdStar's remote ad-entry tools.
"While practically every newspaper offers online ads, the ability to take those ads and republish them to print without forcing advertisers to resubmit them by e-mail, fax, phone, or in person, has been a challenge for all newspapers," said AdStar President Leslie Bernhard, who said her company's technology helps eliminate the problem.
