By: E&P Staff Washingtonpost.com launched a Business Travel section that includes content not only from its parent print daily Washington Post, but from Conde Nast's new monthly glossy business magazine, Portfolio.
"The unique blend of content from both Portfolio and washingtonpost.com's Business and Travel sections create a valuable resource for readers who travel frequently for work," Nancy Kerr, the online site's assistant managing editor of features. "Because their schedules are already hectic, it is important to provide them with a concise, yet comprehensive place to stay informed."
Material from Portfolio will include Joe Brancatelli's "Seated 2B" column.
The section will have a travel search tool powered by Sidestep, and a WiFi locator, from JiWire, that searches for hotspots worldwide.
Lufthansa is the section's exclusive launch sponsor, washingtonpost.com said.
