'Washington Post' Drops Five Comics from Print Edition

Posted
By: E&P Staff On his "Comic Riffs" blog at The Washington Post, Michael Cavna reports that the paper is dropping five comics from the print funnies: "Little Dog Lost," "Pooch Cafe," "Piranha Club," Zippy the Pinhead" and "Judge Parker."

Those strips will no longer be carried in print as of March 30, but will still be available at washingtonpost.com.

In addition, "Dilbert" will be relocated from the Post's soon-to-be-eliminated weekday business pages (which will become part of the A section) to the Style section, Monday through Saturday.
