launches "Journey Along the Border," an on-the-ground look at the Mexico drug war from some of the most dangerous border sites. To coincide with the launch, the Post also offers an in-depth look at assailants targeting drug addicts in Ciudad Juarez.
Mexico Bureau Chief William Booth and Emmy Award-winning video producer Travis Fox are crisscrossing the border from El Paso/Ciudad Juarez to San Diego/Tijuana, and interviewing a variety of people from ordinary area residents to U.S. Border Patrol Agents. A map of their journey is also posted.
Booth and Fox will post stories and video interviews with people they meet and share the scenes and crisis situations in which these people live and work. ?Journey Along the Border? will last for their week-and-a-half trip and is available
here.
At the conclusion of their trip, Booth and Fox will reflect on the experience in an article that also will run in print.
