By: E&P Staff The Washington Post announced Friday it is partnering with the job search engine and recruitment advertising network Simply Hired to provide national job listings.
Simply Hired, according to a release, will provide the Post's readers with relevant job listings through targeted job widgets on news pages. In addition, the site will supplement The Washington Post's job listings in the Washington D.C. Metro area with a National Jobs channel, which can be found
here.
"The Washington Post has long been a top destination for job seekers in the D.C. area, and we've found that many of our national visitors desire that same service," Goli Sheikholeslami, Washington Post Digital's general manager, said in a statement. "Now anyone who comes to washingtonpost.com will be able to search for jobs in their area, and be delivered relevant job listings alongside the news they are already reading."
Mountain View, Calif.-based Simply Hired is a privately held company with financing from News Corporation's Fox Interactive Media, Foundation Capital, Garage Technology Ventures and individual investors. It boasts more than 5 million job listings worldwide and 5,000 job search partners.
Simply Hired has exclusive partnerships with MySpace and LinkedIn, and claims the largest set of professional applications on Facebook.
