Washington Post correspondent Jason Rezaian appeared in a Tehran court Monday for the expected final session in his espionage trial, as a thaw in Iranian relations with the West has raised hopes for American prisoners’ release there. The closed-door session, the trial’s fourth, took place at the city’s Islamic Revolutionary Court. The official Islamic Republic News Agency quoted his lawyer, Leila Ahsan, as saying that a verdict would be issued within a week.
