Washingtonpost.com Names Executive Editor

By: E&P Staff James M. Brady has been named executive editor of washingtonpost.com, effective Feb. 1, 2005.

Brady most recently worked as a consultant to Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive. He served as assistant managing editor and sports editor of washingtonpost.com from 1995-1998.

Brady also has served as vice president of operations, executive director of editorial operations, and group programming director of News and Sports for America Online.

He succeeds Executive Editor Doug Feaver, who is retiring.
