WAVESHIFT UPGRADES YOURTOWN TOOL

Waveshift Inc. of Cameron Park, Calif., has released an upgrade
to its community publishing tool, YourTown, including several
new features.

First, YourTown is offering templates and a common metro
database so community groups only need to enter information
once. Publishers that have more than one site in a single metro
area will still be able to publish the group's information on
various sites that all keep their individual branding.

YourTown also has added a news feature that permits multiple
"news" articles on a Web page. Other tools include instant
access to groups' Web logs, groups' names in their YourTown URL,
and improved event management software.

Waveshift is privately held and was founded in 1993. Other
Waveshift products include SportsHuddle, MyCalendar, UpickEm,
and Webforums. Investors in Waveshift include The McClatchy Co.,
Gannett Co. Inc., and Banc of America Securities.
