It’s finally time for TikTok users to freak out about that ban. 

The wildly popular app is set to go dark in the U.S. on Sunday due to a 2024 law that required the app’s Chinese parent to sell it or shut it down because of national-security concerns. The Supreme Court’s ruling Friday upholding the law exhausted TikTok’s legal options — though some political pathways remain and TikTok’s absence from your phone might be temporary.

President-elect Donald Trump and his advisers are working on options to delay a ban, according to people involved in the discussions.
