By: E&P Staff The Whidbey (Wash.) News-Times is moving in with its sibling, the South Whidbey Record.
News-Times Publisher Marcia Van Dyke said in a story in the paper by Jessie Stensland that its current building in Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island is too large for the staff and expensive to maintain.
But even though it is moving across the island, the News-Times will continue to concentrate its coverage on Oak Harbor, and will remain a twice-weekly, she said. There will not be a staff reduction as a result of the move.
