White House to Engage Iran Critics Through @TheIranDeal

The Obama administration is stepping up its defense of the Iran nuclear deal in a major forum filled with plenty of naysayers: Twitter.   The White House on Tuesday launched @TheIranDeal, a Twitter handle designed to engage the public and correct misconceptions about the deal. It’s the first time the administration has launched an issue-specific Twitter handle, senior officials said, and it’s part of a broader social media strategy aimed at promoting the agreement.
