Wifag Builds an OF370S for Ringier

By: E&P Staff Ringier Print Prague ordered an OF370S press from Wifag, Bern, Switzerland. Like other Czech national dailies, Ringier's Blesk has experienced increased circulation and growth in ad volume.

The 37,500-copy-per-hour OF370S comprises two blanket-to-blanket, four-high towers, two autopaster M, and one 2:5:5 jaw folder. It is equipped with EAE control console technology, color register controls and blanket washing devices. The press prints up to 32 broadsheet pages, all in four-color in collect production mode.

Delivery is scheduled February 2006, and production start up is planned to begin in early May 2006.
