Wifag Restructuring Will Cut Jobs in June

Swiss pressmaker Wifag announced Thursday morning that the first workforce reductions resulting from the restructuring in its plan to focus on the service business.

In what it described as a gradual process that will allow the company to meet it obligations, the first round of layoffs is to take effect at the end of June.

Wifag said it intends to eliminate approximately 170 full-time jobs, and that a decision is imminent concerning "the definitive structure of the new Wifag" and the number jobs that will remain
