Jake Winfrey has been promoted to sports editor at The Cullman Times after serving more than four years as a writer, covering high school and college sports.
An Auburn University graduate and native of Douglas, Winfrey has covered football, track, soccer, baseball, basketball and produced features on local athletes throughout his role as a sports reporter.
