By: The publisher of the Dodge County Pionier was elected president on Friday of the Wisconsin Newspaper Association during the group's 156th annual convention.
Andrew Johnson succeeds Thomas Schultz, managing editor of the Watertown Daily Times.
His term will be through January 2011.
Pieter Graaskamp, publisher of the Leader-Telegram in Eau Claire, was elected first vice president; Steve Dzubay, publisher of the River Falls Journal, was elected second vice president; and Kent Eymann, publisher of the Beloit Daily News, was elected third vice president.
Kevin Corrado, publisher of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, was re-elected treasurer, and Chris Hardie, editor of the La Crosse Tribune and publisher of the Coulee News in West Salem and other weeklies in the River Valley Newspaper Group, La Crosse, was elected secretary.
