Women's Media Group Outraged at Iran Journalist Decision

The International Women's Media Foundation (IWMF) in Washington, D.C. is "outraged and appalled" at a recent decision of an Iranian appellate court that sentenced award-winning freelance journalist Jila Baniyaghoob to one year in jail and a 30-year ban from journalism. Baniyaghoob was charged with propaganda against the Islamic regime because of her reports on the election and the protests that followed. More
