By: E&P Staff A self-syndicator of free Op-Ed pieces has now done columns for more than 100 newspapers.
"Obviously, giving away my work is not exactly the path to riches, but I'm the former editor of a Connecticut daily who makes his money elsewhere," Daniel B. Kline told E&P. "I like to be published and the exposure has helped sales of my two books."
Kline -- who distributes his "Think Twice" columns via e-mail and his
Web site -- writes about current events, politics, and pop culture. He describes himself as a social liberal and fiscal conservative.
Papers running Kline's pieces have included the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, The Hartford (Conn.) Courant, The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Tucson (Ariz.) Citizen, and many other dailies of various sizes.
