Adweek IQ) CNN.com is replacing its existing search results from Google with those generated by Yahoo's search technology.
The change is a part of a new multi-year agreement with Overture Services that calls for the Yahoo! subsidiary to provide the online news publisher its Content Match contextual-advertising product and sponsored-search results, an Overture representative said.
Overture has also commenced a multi-year relationship with The Wall Street Journal Online. The Pasedena, Calif.-based Overture has also extended its sponsored-search agreement with ESPN.com to include Content Match.
Other Overture clients that use its Content Match contextual ad product include MSN, Edmunds.com, the Away Network and parent Yahoo.
