Dow Jones & Co. has beefed up its "Briefing Books," expanding its company
research database to include 25,000 companies on WSJ.com.
The "Briefing Books" include news from The Wall Street Journal and Dow
Jones Newswires, as well as earnings data for 10 years, historical stock quotes,
executive biographies, and live audio from analyst conference calls.
Every page of the Online Journal will have a search box to access the database.
News stories will also carry links to company research compiled by WSJ.com.
Data and analytics for the "Briefing Books" are provided by Market Guide, a
Multex.com Inc. company. Thomson Financial provides earnings estimates and
insider holdings. Corporate Communications Broadcast Network provides live and
archived audio Web cast of analyst conference calls. BigCharts provides the
interactive charting and historical stock quotes.
