congressional and governmental-agency proceedings from Hearings.com.
WSJ.com subscribers will have access to selected audio through links
in the site's news section. Subscribers will also have the option of
purchasing additional content on the Hearings.com site.
Hearings.com, a service provided by Washington, D.C.-based National
Narrowcast Network, provides audio of hearings at Congress, the
Securities and Exchange Commission, Federal Communications Commission,
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Food and Drug Administration
Advisory Committees, Surface Transportation Board, Nuclear Regulatory
Commission, Federal Trade Commission, and others open to live coverage.
'What happens in Washington obviously has a major impact around the
globe - not only on traditional economic issues, but also increasingly
on the many policy issues surrounding the Internet itself and the
emergence of a new global economy,' said Rich Jaroslovsky, managing
editor at WSJ.com.
Hearings.com uses RealPlayer.
