Yahoo, AP Close to a Deal on Content Use?

By: The Wall Street Journal reported today that the Associated Press and Yahoo Inc. are close to reaching an agreement that would likely mean increased restrictions and a potentially higher price tag on AP content distributed on Yahoo's news site.

The WSJ said the deal is expected to be reached within the next several weeks. While the AP declined comment to the newspaper, Yahoo offered a statement: "The AP is one of Yahoo's most important content partners. Yahoo values our long-standing relationship with AP and expects it will continue for years to come."
