Yahoo! Reorganizes Media Division

By: E&P Staff Yahoo! announced today that Vince Broady, formerly a senior executive at CNET Networks, will join Yahoo! Media Group as head of our games and entertainment properties effective June 14th.

In a memo, Yahoo! entertainment chief Lloyd Braun said Broady will "assume the management duties of our entertainment properties, including movies and TV, and will also oversee our games and youth businesses."

The memo noted that David Katz will continue to oversee Yahoo! Sports and will also take on a new role within Yahoo! Media Group as head of Yahoo! Studios, which will "focus on the development and production of event-based, original and user-generated content for all of Yahoo! Media Group." Scott Moore will continue to oversee news, finance and technology, said the memo, and will also assume responsibility for health and lifestyles.
