By: Staff reports NYTimes.com Adds News Discussion Circles To Site
The New York Times on the Web has integrated two discussion circles from its Abuzz.com site
into its news section.
Abuzz.com, a New York Times Digital subsidiary, launched discussion circles covering national
and international news, accessible from news stories that appear on nytimes.com, so readers
can participate in conversations about the news. The main Times site will provide questions
pertaining to news stories which readers can answer by participating in the related Abuzz.com
circles.
Based in Cambridge, Mass., Abuzz.com is a 'knowledge network' that allows members to use e-mail
and the Web to ask questions of fellow Abuzz members.
