AP Faces Deadline on Bob Lewis

The News Media Guild has told the Associated Press that it will take legal action if the news organization does not reinstate former reporter Bob Lewis and former editor Norman Gomlak before Nov. 18, it announced Monday.

Lewis and Gomlak were among three staffers who were fired last month after publishing an erroneous report about then-Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe.
