Audit Bureau Adjusts to Wartime

By: Lucia Moses Citing the start of Persian Gulf War II, the Audit Bureau of Circulations announced it will allow newspapers to count as paid circulation one bonus-day paper in the week following the start of military action without the usual two-week notification to subscribers.

The exception would allow, for example, newspapers to count as paid a Thursday bonus paper delivered to weekend-only subscribers without advance notice.
