By: E&P Staff Joerg Westphal has taken over responsibility for manufacturing and purchasing at basysPrint GmbH. The former sales manager for the Americas and the Middle East also joined the management board.
Active in the printing industry for eight years, Westphal was worldwide product manager for Prosetter systems at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG before moving to basysPrint in 2002.
Credited by basysPrint with "detailed knowledge" of computer-to-plate products and markets, Wetphal, said Managing Director Horst Steppat, "can assess our products from the customers' point of view. He knows the demands of the market and understands how to implement the needs of the user in manufacturing."
