The press at the former Chattanooga Times Free Press office on 11th Street printed its final edition of the newspaper on Nov. 1 as the company moves print production to Knoxville.
The Knoxville News Sentinel, part of the USA TODAY Co., will print the Times Free Press on its press in Knoxville beginning with the Sunday edition on Nov. 8.
The Times Free Press will outsource printing following the sale of the paper from Arkansas-based WEHCO Media Inc. to father-and-son businessmen Max and Craig Fuller from Chattanooga in July. WEHCO retained ownership of the historic brick building on 11th Street and plans to redevelop the property.
