EPG Introduces Apollo Color Measurement, Adelphi Software

By: E&P Staff Essex Products Group is introducing new color-measurement technology and new presetting and scanning interface software.

EPG is introducing the KeyColor Apollo color-measurement and web-inspection technology, which provides continuous closed-loop color control and defect detection, and easily retrofits to most offset presses.

KeyColor Adelphi software uses computer-to-plate output to preset ink fountain keys and reduce set-up costs on presses with non-EPG ink-control systems. Also new, Adelphi scanner interface software works with any ink desk on sheetfed or web presses, adjusting ink keys to achieve required target densities.

With KeyColor C's user-friendly, computerized control of fountain ink keys, press operators are able to rapidly adjust ink key settings from a central desk to speed makeready and reduce waste. Designed for smaller presses, KeyColor S has all the capabilities of larger KeyColor consoles, which include combining with the KeyColor Autoset, AutoKey and Adelphi presetting and color scanner interface software.
