By: Staff Reports Ad Revenue Rose 7.3%
Pulitzer Inc. said earnings from continuing operations rose
16.2% to 50 cents per share in the second quarter, in which the
company increased its interest in the St. Louis Post-
Dispatch and agreed to buy a weekly group, Suburban Journals
of Greater St. Louis.
Excluding properties bought and sold, second-quarter revenue
rose 6.3% as ad revenue rose 7.3%, reflecting gains at the
Post-Dispatch, Arizona Daily Star, and Pulitzer
Community Newspaper Group.
