Posted
By: E&P Staff The Laodong Daily in Shanghai, China, is in full production with the first shaftless Goss Universal 75 press, installed in a new printing center.

A Goss user since 2000, when it installed its first Community press, Laodong Daily sought to generate more advertising revenue. The 75,000-copy-per-hour Universal 75 offers advanced features to satisfy the paper's need for more color pages and higher quality.

Configured as two four-high towers, one rotary folder, and three reelstands, the Universal 75 is capable of printing 12 pages broadsheet or 24 pages tabloid pages in full color.
