By: E&P Staff France's EBRA Group has chosen Madrid-based ProtecMedia as its long-term technology partner for modernizing management and production of advertising and multimedia editorial content at all its newspapers.
The biggest regional daily press group in France, selling more than a million copies of 96 editions in 23 regions to 3.5 million readers, EBRA also has stakes in weekly and free papers, local TV and multimedia.
Installation of the Milenium cross-media system has begun at the group's Lyon, Dijon and Le Creusot publishing sites, where production is expected to start in fall.
ProtecMedia's range of products includes editorial planning, content management, editing and production, workflow coordination, multimedia archiving, data processing for business analysis, and print-center workflow.
