By: E&P Staff Dauphin Graphic Machines Inc., Elizabethville, Pa., announced two singlewide press equipment sales.
Walton Press, Inc., Monroe, Ga., bought 12 DGM 440 units and one DGM 1035 folder, to be housed in a 15,000-square-foot addition to their facility. The purchase is the second DGM 440 press line acquired by Walton Press, a commercial and publications printer producing daily, weekly, and monthly titles, including several ethnic newspapers.
Installation is set for April 1, and the new line is expected to be fully operational two months later.
A.F.L. Web Printing of Vorhees, N.J., purchased two DGM 430 four-high units, which will be used as "slip-in" configurations, replacing mono unit footprints. The purchase is the printer's 12th from DGM.
With 300-plus press transactions per week, publications printer A.F.L. produces weekly and monthly newspapers and trade publications. Dailies include Philadelphia Metro, with 160,000+ copies.
