Getty Images Adjusts 'Rights-Ready' Parameters

By: E&P Staff Getty Images has launched its "rights-ready licensing model" -- with a change.

When it was announced early this month that the model would start in late August, the rights-ready duration was going to be "unlimited." After photographer input, the duration has been changed to 10 years.

Rights-ready licensing enables customers to obtain still imagery through a simplified pricing and usage structure. The rights-ready collection -- called "Riser" -- features more than 70,000 images in the categories of lifestyle, business, travel, sports, and wildlife. Hundreds of images will be added each month.
