By: E&P Staff Goss International, Bolingbrook, Ill., appointed Bill Rogers as information systems vice president and chief information officer, based at its Dover, N.H., facility.
Drawing on experience in what Goss decribes as "enterprisewide merger integration programs," Rogers' mission, according to Goss CEO Bob Brown, "is to push the barriers and accelerate the integration of activities throughout the company by transforming Goss International's business model and providing an effective systems platform to ensure the organization's profitability."
Referring to last summer's acquisition of Heidelberg Web Systems, Goss Chief Financial Officer Joe Gaynor said in a statement announcing Rogers' appointment: "This integration, with the introduction of common management, manufacturing, engineering, and finance systems across all locations will allow Goss International to achieve many of the economies which drove our recent merger."
Before joining Goss, Rogers worked for EaglePicher, General Motors, Johnson Controls, and AlliedSignal.
