Daily Herald installed 15 ProductionManagerPro workstations for three remote sites, facilitating ad production and asset management across its region with one software solution. The Wausaw headquarters for some time has run ProductionManagerPro, from MediaSpan's Harris and Baseview division in Ann Arbor, Mich., and Melbourne, Fla.
Gannett's 22,840-circulation Herald was one of 33 sites going live recently with Harris & Baseview software.
Harris & Baseview also announced that its BITS Web-hosting division set up its interactive auto racing game on 18 newspaper Web sites in one month, letting Internet players make picks in individual races and compete for prizes on national and local levels and increasing traffic at individual sites.
The company also listed a half-dozen advertising software installations in Indiana, Illinois, Missouri and Texas, four editorial system installations in Indiana and Maine, circulation system sales in Maine and Pennsylvania, and Web hosting for a Massachusetts weekly.
