Justice Dept. is investigating TV networks over Trump pool coverage

The Justice Department is investigating whether ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and Fox News violated antitrust laws when they briefly suspended shared coverage of President Trump, The New York Times reports. The networks halted their television pool coverage after Trump barred CNN, MS NOW and Politico from the White House. Investigators have requested communications and other materials related to the pool, escalating the administration’s dispute with news organizations over presidential access.
