By: E&P Staff To help job seekers find the best jobs and recruiters find the best candidates, media companies -- including News International and The Guardian -- are working with Madgex, of Brighton, England, to implement the new Madgex CV Search & Match product for their brands online.
CV Search & Match services can be used in conjunction with the Madgex Job Site platform or on a stand-alone basis.
The full-service job-board outsourcing and consulting firm says its CV Search & Match delivers the following benefits: more and better job seekers maintaining resumes on the system because of easy upload; maintenance and setting of job and privacy preferences; getting the right candidates without the need for specialist technical expertise through faceted search; browsing and matching either to role description or ideal existing employee resume; and showing more candidate data pre-purchase without breaching anonymity, with a relevancy ranking to improve decision-making.
"We started our investment in our new product using Actonomy search and match technologies a year ago, with the aim of helping our clients move up the value chain in terms of their ability to provide flexible commercial models which aided all participants in the recruitment process," Madgex CEO Simon Conroy said in a statement.
With more than 12.5 million user visits per month across its client network, Madgex anticipates benefits of the structured industry-standard data format and the use of open protocols to increase data portability and secure transfer and aid job seeker acquisition, matching and profile freshness.
Madgex will customize the search for clients in niche sectors to enable them to improve the performance of their search and match service for the benefit of recruiters and job seekers.
