Markzware Upgrades XPress-to-InDesign Converter

By: E&P Staff Markzware, Santa Ana, Calif., today released an upgrade to its Q2ID QuarkXPress-to-InDesign conversion tool. Version 4 offers a fast and affordable way to move QuarkXPress content into a new Adobe InDesign document.

This new version has full plug-in support for InDesign CS3 and CS4 and converts XPress versions 3.3 through 8. It enables intricate content detail in a QuarkXPress document to be quickly re-created in InDesign, saving hours of scanning, re-keying and formatting. Q2ID converts and transforms files created with XPress, in either the Windows or Macintosh, into an Adobe InDesign file, which can then be opened on either platform.
